Leading Conference for Restaurant Equipment Suppliers and Manufacturers Talks Technology

I’ve been attending the Foodservices Equipment Distribution Association annual leadership conference for ten years. The conference is mostly attended by the owners and leaders of the 150 largest restaurant suppliers and many leading manufacturers in North America. Speakers and topics range from supply chain, government lobbying, technology, and best practices.

My involvement is primarily as a sponsor and speaker focused on how these leading businesses can leverage technology for driving growth and operational efficiency.

This year, the technology conversation feels different.

Five years ago, dealers and manufacturers were asking me the typical “should we update our ERP” question. Today, more are asking how to streamline and modernize their full tech stack to ensure they can gain significant automation, efficiency and native AI capability.

I’ll be facilitating the Tech Talks roundtable session where a variety of topics will be discussed including transportation management, item management, ERP, and AI.
